2010 Male Winter Fashion Trends

Male fashion trends can be very tricky. Considering that the trends range from extremely feminine to more masculine. As a man who was raised in the wilderness I appreciate the masculine trends much more than the pinks, purples, and ultra-tight pants currently hitting the market. This year is all about “maleness” and dressing like a man.

Here is some advice on dressing this year.

According to Micholas Morine, “A half-length, fur lined leather jacket is the centerpiece of this look. Brown is highly recommended, as black lends a rather serious aire to a very casual look. For inspiration, be sure to check out the “Trent” model from Andrew Marc, or something along these lines from Calvin Klein if you do opt for the black treatment. Calvin Klein has always produced, and been reputed for, very sleek and fitted black leather jackets, year after year.”

H&M States, “The proposals of the collections have, as some people might imagine, subdued colors. Gray tones will have an important relevance. As for the fabrics used in this collection, we can mention some materials such as velvet and flannel that were used in shirts, pants and jackets.”

Love to Know States: “The unmistakable wool coat, the thickly wrapped woolen scarf, the slightly short trousers, the crisp shirt and the slimly cut coat are but a few examples of common pieces typically found in a European’s well-edited closet. Of course, there’s more to it than just the classics; there are also the fashion-forward, trend-driven elements that enjoy some time in the spotlight each season. One of the most discerning traits of European male fashion is its purposeful design, and a man in need of some Fashion 101 need only peek inside any Euro-inspired closet for a valuable lesson.”

SoFeminine States: “We all love an Italian, mainly because they look so hot in luxurious fabrics, perfect cuts and classy colours. This season, it’a all about smart cable-knit sweaters, fitted trousers and tops that hug his toned pecs! You’ll find every shade of grey this season, and the look can be casual or smart.”

MAG Talent’s advice is to wear fur, brown colors and jeans. Using brown pants may certainly move you into the category of casual-dress. A nice pair of leather boots with fur trim, dark colored jeans, and brown knit jacket. Wearing a scarf as an accessory can add more flavor to your outfit.
